To Pierce or Not to Pierce

This past weekend Alanna got her ears pierced. I had been wanting to do it for a while now and Keith wanted to keep putting it off. The trade off for him going to Vegas was for Alanna to get her ears pierced.
The actual piercing went great! I don't think she realized what had happened and by the time any sort of pain registered in her mind, I had distracted her with a sucker. Maybe I should bring suckers to the doctor's office when they get their shots!

Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year the kids surprised me with Gerber Daisies and a beautiful hanging flower basket for the front porch. Nice job, Keith...oh, I mean kids!

Baptism

On April 19th we had Ryland baptized. This is a very special moment as we promise to raise our children in a Christian home. We are so grateful to have the support of friends and family as we begin the fun, but difficult, journey of child rearing.
