Meijer Gardens

We had a playdate at Meijer Gardens. The weather was perfect and the kids had a great time. Caleb had his friends, Nora and Kyle, with him and from the picture....Kyle and Caleb look pretty worn out! The picture with the 3 kids sitting on a curb include Caleb, Nora and ????? Some little boy decided that he wanted to be in the picture. I thought it was pretty funny.

Spray-ground

What a fun find for a hot summer's day! Today we ventured to one of Grand Rapids' "spraygrounds"---a playground that sprays/shoots water from the ground. I was really impressed by what was there. These pictures don't really show the extent to how high and how far the water shoots. Caleb was too timid to really "get into" it. As he becomes more comfortable with it, I'm sure he'll venture out. I look forward to when Alanna is walking and can "enjoy" it as well.

Teeth

Keith pointed out that there have been no pictures of Alanna lately. Here are a few that I took that show her bottom 2 teeth coming in and then a picture that shows her "dracula" fangs.

Signs of Summer

The weather is getting warmer, so it's time to fill the pool. Everyone has fun playing in the water...both my 2 legged and 4 legged children.

Camping

Keith and Caleb went on their annual camping trip to Hoffmaster Park. Keith, along with 6 other guys and their kids, made the trip. At one point, there were a total of 16 guys and children at the campground. What a sight that must've been!

Mini Golf

Keith and Caleb enjoyed a Father-Son bonding day over Mini Golf. I told Keith not to expect too much from our "not quite 3 years old" child, but Keith said that Caleb did rather well. He enjoyed putting the ball in the "tunnels" and watching them come out.
