Spray-ground

What a fun find for a hot summer's day! Today we ventured to one of Grand Rapids' "spraygrounds"---a playground that sprays/shoots water from the ground. I was really impressed by what was there. These pictures don't really show the extent to how high and how far the water shoots. Caleb was too timid to really "get into" it. As he becomes more comfortable with it, I'm sure he'll venture out. I look forward to when Alanna is walking and can "enjoy" it as well.

Teeth

Keith pointed out that there have been no pictures of Alanna lately. Here are a few that I took that show her bottom 2 teeth coming in and then a picture that shows her "dracula" fangs.

Signs of Summer

The weather is getting warmer, so it's time to fill the pool. Everyone has fun playing in the water...both my 2 legged and 4 legged children.

Camping

Keith and Caleb went on their annual camping trip to Hoffmaster Park. Keith, along with 6 other guys and their kids, made the trip. At one point, there were a total of 16 guys and children at the campground. What a sight that must've been!

Mini Golf

Keith and Caleb enjoyed a Father-Son bonding day over Mini Golf. I told Keith not to expect too much from our "not quite 3 years old" child, but Keith said that Caleb did rather well. He enjoyed putting the ball in the "tunnels" and watching them come out.

Wondering where to sleep?

Caleb has been found sleeping under his bed. In the morning and after his naps he is woken up snuggled against carpet. I wonder how long this will last.

Look who's mobile!

At 9 1/2 months, Alanna has started crawling. She seems to enjoy herself more now that she can get to where she wants to go. The problem? She always seems to want to get into Caleb's stuff...
